SLEEPY EYE, MN — September 3, 2014 — Christensen Farms and Feedlots, Inc. was presented the 2013 National Honorary FFA Degree by Brandon Roiger, member of the Sleepy Eye High School FFA Chapter, on August 28, 2014. Bob Christensen, founder and former CEO of Christensen Farms was awarded this Degree due to his long-standing commitment and support of agriculture and agriculture education programs such as FFA (Future Farmers of America).

The American FFA Degree is awarded to individuals who have provided exceptional service to agriculture, agriculture education, and FFA.

Bob’s wife Mary Ann, their children Robert Jr. (Cubby), Kellen, and Bob’s Brother Lynn proudly accepted the Degree in honor of the late Bob Christensen (October 3, 1961 – November 3, 2012).

Lynn Christensen, brother of Bob Christensen and co-owner of Christensen Farms, said “Accepting this award on behalf of my brother is a great honor for the Christensen family and the Christensen Farms organization. It is our aspiration to continue a piece of Bob’s legacy through continued commitment and support of FFA and agriculture education.”
