Chairman of the Board

Lynn Christensen, brother of Christensen Farms’ late founder, Bob Christensen, currently serves as Christensen Farms’ Chairman of the Board. In addition to serving as Board Chairman, Lynn is active in the company’s ongoing commodity risk management and strategy development efforts, working closely with the company’s CEO and Executive Committee.

Lynn and Bob Christensen started the Christensen Farms organization in 1974 when they received two bred gilts from a neighbor farmer. Lynn was instrumental in the early expansion of Christensen Farms during the 1990s, by leading many construction projects across the company’s regions. In 1999, Lynn went on to pursue further academic credentials and additional business ventures.

Today, Lynn’s focus is on assisting with the family’s ownership and on supporting the Executive Committee and their quest in maintaining a high level of excellence and success. He is passionate about seeing people develop into industry and peer leaders.

Lynn earned his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado Boulder and is currently a developer of residential and commercial projects in the Western U.S. He is also actively involved with charities in the Denver area that focus on children and education.
